A clear, telehealth-first path into Ohio's medical cannabis program
SoutheastColumbusCannabis.Clinic schedules your telehealth visit and explains Ohio's process clearly — the medical evaluation itself belongs entirely to the independent physician you meet with. We're not a dispensary, pharmacy, or medical practice; we're the connection point between patients and Ohio-licensed physicians.
Physicians here carry an active Certificate to Recommend and conduct a real assessment — a recommendation depends on your actual health history, not a checkbox.
Visits run on HIPAA-compliant video platforms. What you share with your physician stays between the two of you.
Every part of this process follows Ohio Revised Code Chapter 3796 and current Division of Cannabis Control requirements.
Your telehealth visit connects you with an Ohio-licensed MD or DO holding an active Certificate to Recommend. If your condition matches Ohio's qualifying list — a list that's grown several times since 2019 — your physician can issue a recommendation. That's step one. Step two is yours: you register directly with the state through the Ohio Patient & Caregiver Registry, currently a $0.01 fee, using an Ohio driver's license or state ID to confirm residency. Your card holds for a year once issued. Program details live with the Ohio Division of Cannabis Control, not with us.
Physicians and telehealth partners pay us for referrals and marketing — standard practice for healthcare directories, and disclosed in full in our Advertising Disclosure. It has no bearing on any physician's clinical decisions. Questions? Reach us through the contact form on our Terms & Policies page.
